Each lesson entitles the recipient to a one hour driving lesson with Blue Bubble Driver Training in Christchurch, NZ.
Multiple lessons can be purchased in a single transaction. Simply increase the quantity below to book more than one lesson.
When you add your purchase to the shopping cart, you will be presented with a form where we will collect more information to help us schedule and tailor your lesson.
What to Expect
Each driving lesson is structured in a similar format, yet tailored accordingly for trainees specific needs and skill levels.
Briefing
Refresh vehicle controls and operating procedures. Discuss the route the lesson will take and the key skills to be observing and practicing.
Practical Driving
Each driving route will incorporate a mix of urban, city and motorway driving. Parking, turning and reversing skills will be taught.
Debrief
Talk through the key points of the practical driving experience, highlighting the areas working well and the things needing more practice.
Progress Report
At the completion of every lesson, the trainee will be emailed a progress report that clearly states the range of skills covered and the learning stages achieved.

Every trainee comes to us with different skill levels and requirements. Some may need only a few lessons, while others may require more. To be fair to you and your finances, we recommend starting with an initial lesson so we can assess your needs and determine the most suitable lesson plan, along with expected costs. Package deals are available after this first lesson.

We conduct most of our training in the central and eastern areas of Christchurch, offering a good mix of driving environments to suit trainees of all experience levels.

Yes, you may use your own vehicle if preferred and agreed in advance with the instructor. It must hold a current WOF and registration and have appropriate insurance.

Yes, you can learn in a manual vehicle, either your own or one provided by us. If your own, it must hold a current WOF and registration and have appropriate insurance.

Yes, there is the option of using our vehicle for your test. This must be agreed and booked in advance with your instructor and will be charged at standard lesson rates.

Throughout your training, we provide ongoing advice and progress updates. Once we feel confident together that you’re ready for your test, we’ll run through practice scenarios to prepare you fully.

Based on your driving ability, your instructor will make a recommendation and discuss it with you during your lesson.
